Custom Web Design by Pug Digital Media
Pug Custom Web Design

Pug is a small web design company
that's big on detail & client service.

We look at what makes you unique and reflect that when we craft your website. Just as no two clients are the same - no two Pug websites are the same either. Each visitor needs a 'call to action' so they buy your product, employ your services or follow you on Twitter. It's no use having a beautiful website if it does not impact positively your bottom line. We make sure it does.

We bring your story to life using rich imagery and clean design, always aware of search engines (SEO) and the user experience (UX). Our ideas can be fully optimised for mobile using the latest responsive web design techniques.

Your website should just work. We code in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Ruby, Javascript and utilise a variety of platforms such as WordPress for content management and Shopify for scalable e-commerce.

We don't just build websites; we also build relationships. Launching a new website is always exciting, but your online activities go beyond this one-off event. We work as your partner, always being there for changes, new features and support. Our support services are provided on an ad hoc basis or a more structured retainer agreement, as you prefer.

1. Meet

It's important for us to know each other, so the first thing we do is meet with you - in person, by telephone or via Skype/Google.

2. Listen

We want to know what is important to you and what your new website needs to achieve. We engage our ears before our mouths.

3. Ideas

Next, we put together our recommendations on look, feel and functionality. These are usually presented as wireframes or images.

4. Project

Once we all agree on the way forward, we create a project plan and set about designing and building your website.

5. Review

Midway through our project plan, we provide the opportunity for you to review progress and provide feedback.

6. Sign Off

Once we've designed and built your website, you have the opportunity to fully review everything. Your website is ready to launch!

7. Beyond

The work does not finish once a website is launched. Rest assured, we are happy to work with you on new features, advice and support issues.

Recent // CreditSquare

CreditSquare, a London-based finance broker, required a new, striking website from scratch to market their services to entrepreneurs and business managers. We created a dark design with electric green highlights and over-exposed, desaturated imagery. In addition to a full CMS solution, we created a marketing section to sit alongside and tell the story of CreditSquare.

The new website is fully responsive - it makes the most of the available screen real estate regardless of device - from 1920px wide down to 320px. When viewed on a tablet/smartphone, the layout is optimised for easy reading and navigation. We also created copy/content after several brainstorming sessions with the client and designed a new logo and icon.

Recent // Frontier Coaching

The team at Frontier Coaching in London wanted to completely rebuild their existing website and increase the number of business visitors enquiring about social media coaching. We created an image-rich, tablet-friendly vertical scrolling design that tells the Frontier story and gravitates visitors towards an easy-to-use contact option.
